Key responsibilities

Typically, the candidate will be expected to undertake and assist with the following duties:

  • Lead development of content strategy and production that delights our employees, to amplify employee news and employee engagement
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice
  • Support strategy development of various employee-facing events, and be available to participate in and support major company achievements
  • Develop tactics to achieve Employee Communication and Engagement metrics, sharing results with relevant team members to acknowledge progress
  • Manage and influence internal partners on company-wide content such as executive presentations, newsletters, company announcements, and crisis response
  • Lead by example to develop and share standard methodologies for employee communications to be shared and replicated throughout the broader organization
  • Respond to inquiries from various internal email inboxes with prompt, thoughtful responses

The candidate – key requirements

Cairn has a unique opportunity for a high calibre HR Generalist. This role will provide generalist and project support to the HR team, and be the internal administration point of contact for both the Cairn Management and the wider site construction teams. 

Key responsibilities

Typically, the candidate will be expected to undertake and assist with the following duties:

  • Provide support to the Human Resources team across talent acquisition, administration, employee relations and providing HR support
  • Work on recruitment assignments including sourcing, screening, arranging and interviewing candidates with line Managers.
  • Conduct all administration associated with the recruitment process, contract documentation and employee files
  • Participate in and assist with HR projects and ensure HR policies and forms are up to date
  • Be a point of contact for HR queries and escalate as appropriate with line managers and HR manager an act as a trusted advisor to both line managers and employees.
  • Assist Managers in addressing performance issues.
  • Advise management on personnel procedures and policies through a strong knowledge of HR policies & employment law.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Irish human resources laws, processes and procedures relating to staffing, employee relations, and payroll.

The candidate – key requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years - experience in HR Generalist role.
  • Successful experience in implementation of HR Projects.

Key responsibilities

Invoice Processing:

·       Matching orders/deliveries and Purchase orders to Invoices for approval

·       Scanning invoices and filing them accordingly

·       Sending invoices for approval

·       Liaising with Quantity Surveyor’s to resolve queries

Payment runs:

·       Downloading monthly and weekly payment runs from the system and reviewing for payment

·       RCT – Ros return

·       Sending payment run to the bank for approval

·       Posting payment run to our accounting system

·       Resolve queries and conduct reconciliation for suppliers

·       Provide query resolution for Quantity Surveyors, as required

·       Supplier Statement reconciliation

 

The candidate

·       One to two years’ experience in a similar role

·       Previous sector experience an advantage, but not required

·       Strong IT skills with Microsoft Dynamics (Nav) experience a bonus

·       Strong Interpersonal Skills. (while the business is growing rapidly the Head office team is still relatively small and the ability to work with people is a key pre-requisite)

The candidate – key requirements

 ·       Experience in managing safety systems in construction is required, including a qualification in Occupational Health and Safety

·       Member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) preferred

·       Able to manage Health and Safety on-site using their own initiative within the scope of the management system

·       Strong relationship builder and ability to leverage key relationships across the full spectrum of project stakeholders and statutory bodies

We are looking for an experienced and highly confident landscape professional to oversee the implementation and delivery of landscape works and landscape management across the Cairn portfolio of development sites. The role will involve some design work, overseeing projects designed in-house, and work designed by consulting Landscape Architects. The Landscape Operations Manager will oversee the landscape maintenance of the Cairn portfolio and Cairn managed developments. This person will report to the Head of Landscape and Urban Design.

 

The role

·       Supervise the projects on the development sites.

·       Work collaboratively with the design team, internal Cairn teams, and Cairn’s vendors to ensure the smooth implementation of the landscape design vision and delivery of the detailed landscape packages.

 

The candidate

·       Degree in Landscape Archietcture or Amenity Horticulture.

·       Min. of 5 years Professional Experience.

·       Full clean Driver’s licence and flexibility to travel between development sites

·       Landscape design skills.

·       Highly developed knowledge of Plant Materials.

·       Developed knowledge of hard landscape materials.

·       Experience in overseeing the implementation of landscape works

The role provides leadership to the project construction team to ensure works are carried out to the required quality, Health & Safety and environmental standards, and in full compliance with the Planning Permission.                 

 

Key responsibilities

Typically the candidate will be expected to undertake and assist with the following duties:

·       Project Management of large scale multi-contract residential / mixed-use developments reporting to the Group Construction Director

·       Single point responsibility for project out-turn from tender stage through construction and handover

·       Provide leadership to the project construction team to ensure works are carried out to the required quality, Health & Safety and environmental standards, in full compliance with the Planning Permission

·       Preparation of Project Execution Plan including Contracting Strategy, Programme, Budget and risks mitigation plan

·       Management of the Project Budget and Contract Administration in conjunction with the Project Quantity Surveyor; Management of the Project Programme

·       Liaison with Planning/Development Team to ensure project value-engineered during the Pre-Construction Stage

·       Liaison with Sales Management team during the fit-out; marketing and customer completions stages

·       Management of the Project Design Team during construction to ensure coordination of information flows to the site teams

·       Coordination of key project stakeholders including statutory authorities and liaison with JV Project partners

·       Implementation of best practice in project controls, performance management, and Project Reporting

  

The candidate

·       Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent; 15+ years’ post-qualification experience

·       Background in large scale, higher-density residential or commercial construction in complex –inner-city sites

·       Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards

·       Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
