Hanover Quay, Dublin 2

Hanover Quay is a new luxury contemporary residential apartment building with a unique high profile identity on the Dockland waterfront in a new urban quarter location in Dublin.

The building form and aesthetic is strongly expressed with prominent horizontal black bands and continuous glazed balconies defining the floor plates which float and end in dynamic fluid curved loops which link between floors. The building is cantilevered over the footpath at the front and rear, appearing to float above the tall glass walls of the restaurant and coffee shop. This horizontal band and loop design extends from the waterfront, around elegant curved glass corners at Hanover and Chocolate Park and into and around the ground level and individual lobby entrance door of the inner courtyard. At street level the Duplexes are recessed, set within two very large two storey-high curving black arches with white insets which form and define the small private landscaped garden entrance gardens. The Black polished curving bands which define and form the contemporary aesthetic are made in a high quality polished reconstituted quartz stone which will contrast with the white soffit panels and feature polished white balconies to the front. Highly polished curving white reconstituted quartz stonewith inset backlit signage will also clearly identify and create bright contemporary entrances to the Concierge, Restaurant and Hall doors to all the own- door ground level Duplexes. The setback penthouse apartments are all glazed with polished stainless steel edging to create a crisp cornice line edge to the street.
